2026-2027 Tryout Information

How to Register for USAV and Tryouts:
  • Step 1: Sign-up or RENEW Player with USAV. (Make sure you note the six-digit USAV Number for Tryout Pre-Registration)
  • Step 2: Determine the Player's “Team Age”.
  • Step 3: Fill out the Tryout Pre-Registration FORM.
  • Step 4: Come to the TRYOUT and Complete Registration at table. If you are UNABLE to attend a specific tryout, please notify one of the Directors to see about coming to an alternate tryout event.

STEP 1:

Register or RENEW Player Account with USAV, found on OKRVA website . Be SURE to PRINT a copy of the forms. There is a USAV annual membership fee paid directly to USAV when registering. The registration/renewals asks for the player's club team. Leave that blank until player has committed to a specific team/club. Make note of the player's USAV Membership Number, as we will need that as evidence of being registered for the upcoming season.

IMPORTANT: A player WILL NOT BE allowed to participate in the tryouts without having current 2026-2027 USAV REGISTRATION for the upcoming season.

STEP 2:

USA Volleyball JUNIOR PLAYER AGE Definition

This is the NEW Age Definition for players for the 2026-2027 season.

We have an online tool that will show you the YOUNGEST age team on which your daughter can participate without an Exception Waiver granted by OKRVA Board.

These are the Wave Tryout Dates, as approved:

U15 - Tryouts

Thursday, July 16th: 5pm - 7pm

U16 - Tryouts

Thursday, July 16th: 7:30pm - 9:30pm

U17 & U18 - Tryouts

Saturday, July 18th: 10am - 12pm

Secondary Tryouts

U15 & U16 - Tryouts

Sunday, July 19th: 2pm - 3:30pm

U17 & U18 - Tryouts

Sunday, July 19th: 3:30pm - 5pm

Tryout Cost

The tryout cost per player is $40. We will have an online registration form this year on SportsEngine.

What does it cost to play with Wave?

One of our primary desires is to keep the cost as low as possible so that families can afford to be involved with Club Volleyball!
The cost per player for 2026-2027 will be $1,850 for Tsunami Teams and $1,750 for Tide Teams! Practices will be at ASJ Sportsplex Sports Complex.

Here is what's included with this fee:

  • 2 Long Sleeve Jerseys
  • 1 Pair of Spandex
  • 1 Backpack
  • 1 Warm Up Top
  • 1 Practice Tee

NOTE: Tsunami will have more tournaments than Tide teams.

What is NOT Included:

  • Warmup Bottoms Uniform Upgrade.
  • Player and Family Travel Costs to and from Tournaments.
  • Coaches Reimbursements for Travel Costs to and from Tournaments, including meals while away.
